- BIOGRAPHY
- The Footloose Band combines a Blast from the Past with a mixture of the
present to bring you a dance party you will be sure to remember. Perfect for
special event and corporate parties. The groups is both different and
unique. The Footloose band is full of energy and is not shy about
interacting with the audience. The sets concentrate on mostly 80's Dance,
Rock and New Wave songs but also incorporate a touch of 70's, 90's and
Current Dance. Footloose takes the stage dressed in numerous period costumes
replicating the look of music, movie, TV and fashion trends of the 80's.
These characters can include but are not limited to: Miami Mullet Vice,
Bruce Springsteen, Vanilla Ice, Retro Maroon Tux Prom Look, Elvis Costello,
Dexy's Midnight Runner, Devo, and a Madonna Cyndi Lauper style Valley Girl.
The band performs as a 6-piece group with a male and female lead vocalist.
The Footloose band gets the dance floor moving by recreating recognizable
era dance moves and great showmanship that will surely make you reminisce
and crack up when you check out the pastel clothes, skinny ties and crazy
hair cuts. So get ready to party and kick up your heels and cut Footloose!
