Whether it’s a birthday party or Bar Mitzvah for 50 or a corporate event for 5,000, a once-in-a-lifetime wedding or MCing that business meeting, we can do it all.

Our thirty years experience has seen us working with a wide variety of satisfied clients; in addition to hundreds of delighted brides and grooms, happy families and late-night backyard parties, we have also provided the entertainment and music for many big name clients in the entertainment business. From a basic, beautiful sound system that includes twin CD players, a mixing board, amp, speakers and microphone, to a full-on concert-system with overhead lighting and multiple sound reinforcement, we can provide it all.

Our first questions will include the kind of party or event that it is, where it is being held (indoors/outdoors/size of the venue?) and the number of persons expected.

We will then tailor the sound system and lighting package (if required) to suit your needs and budget.

Next comes the type of music that you would like. Our library that we bring to every gig includes more than 5,000 titles but we want you to be thrilled with the music. So, in addition to everything from 40s Big Band, 50s Elvis, 60s Beach Music, 70s Rock and Disco, 80s New Wave, 90s Dance and today’s hits, we want to find out your special songs so we can have them on hand to make sure they are played at the right time.

Whether it’s that first dance at your wedding that means so much, the Prom theme that ties it all together, that anniversary record that brings back those magic moments or the coming-of-age track for the Bar Mitzvah, we’ll have it and we’ll play it for you – along with a customized introduction to set it up.

We also want to know the dress code for the party so that Richard – and the opening DJ – can dress appropriately. You tell us, from tuxedoes to fancy dress, we have it and we’ll wear it.

The event usually starts with the equipment being set up ahead of time. There is (usually unless otherwise requested) a warm-up DJ to start things off, then Richard Blade will arrive to host and spin the music for the bulk of the party – at least two to three hours. This will include (as appropriate) announcements, toasts and contests. It makes for a fun and memorable occasion, and for those new brides, the dream wedding reception that you will remember for years.

Prices for that perfect party start around $2,000.00 and vary based on time, distance and equipment required. We will travel anywhere around the world to host your special occasion.
