The Beginning of a Tribute Band Hall of Fame

Founded in 1997, DMH Enterprises is a leading music talent agency, with early beginnings tied to the iconic Pelicans Retreat in Calabasas, California.

It was there, in 1993, that I created a Wall of Fame, showcasing the club’s top acts and performances with proper accreditation, proudly displayed on a dedicated forum.

From there, DMH Enterprises has been booking acts at the Canyon Club venue (since 2001) in Agoura, Saban Theatre, Oxnard Performing Arts Center, and many of the largest venues in both in Southern California & throughout the United States.

In 2020, DMH Enterprises re-created a similar Wall of Fame for all Canyon Club venues, highlighting the best 300 artists out of the 3,000 who performed over the past 20 years. At this time, I had the crazy idea, or epiphany, that there should one day be a Tribute Band Hall of Fame honoring high-end tribute acts for their contributions to music.

We have an historical track record of 30 years, recognizing the most reputable performing acts in both music & entertainment history.

Our experience of booking, building, and creating thousands of thousands of performing music acts (specifically Tribute Bands) has developed our authority & key sense on being an unofficial tribute expert.

DMHE's Tribute Band Hall of Fame (Criteria List) | Last Updated December 2025

1. The tribute act inducted must be a tribute to an original artist or band that is already inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

2. The tribute act must be an authentic representation of the original act. This means the band must look and perform the show the same way, with the exact number of musicians as the original act they are portraying, and most importantly, they must sound like the act they are emulating.

3. The tribute act should have at least 10 years of experience and have logged a minimum of 500 performances in venues with a capacity of at least 500 people.
